IT IS ME: TOMAS RODAK

Take a moment to sit down and let me introduce myself and share my perspective on photography.

I predominantly live and work in Switzerland. Growing up amidst the breathtaking nature of the High & Low Tatra mountains, I was immersed in a rich cultural heritage and folk traditions as a native Slovak. From an early age, I developed a keen interest in art and botany. Those who know me affirm that „art chlorophyll“ courses through my veins.

Life has led me through University, where I pursued studies in International Trade, Law, and Diplomacy. This path has propelled me into a successful career in Indirect Tax consultancy spanning nearly 20 years. Throughout this remarkable journey, I have remained an avid photographer, a globetrotter, and an ardent lover of art and plants. This diverse background has enabled me to curate a substantial portfolio encompassing various themes. However, my true artistic passion has always revolved around the floral world. In my photographic works, I strive to accentuate the innate beauty of plant forms and colors, allowing nature to take center stage and communicate its vibrant energy to the audience.

One of my notable accomplishments is the creation of the „Day With You“ project, where I capture the captivating essence of everyday routines, immortalizing cherished memories for my clients. Additionally, my „Green Art“ series, celebrated for its scientifically proven positive impact on mental health, has garnered immense appreciation from my audience.
